SUPER SIMPLE PUTTY Ingredients: 3 cups water 3 cups of flour sifted 3/4 cup salt 8 tablespoons cream of tartar 3 tablespoons vegetable oil Food colouring Any color you like to add to your putty Spatula Whisk Directions: 1. In a medium-sized to large saucepan, mix your dry ingredients and mix wellbefore adding the wet ingredients. With an enormous spoon or spatula, mix everything together until it is nearly free of clumps. 2. Mixture over medium heat and whisk frequently. Continue to stir the mixture until it starts to become clumpy. Continue mixing with the spatula. Once a large clump has formed, take it off the heat and allow to cool. 3. Once cooled to a comfortable temperature, begin to knead the putty by hand. When the consistency is uniform, begin separating the putty into equal sections in case you're making various colors. We could make three colors in this batch. To apply the food colouring make an imprint with your thumb on the center of the ball. Slowly add a few drops of food colouring at a time between kneads so the colour is evenly distributed. When you have reached your desired hue, the play can begin!
